MyFoodDiary 1.1.0.0

Log all your meals and reactions promptly with a dedicated utility for your mobile handset
While following a diet or when simply trying to keep track of the nutrients in your daily meals it could be a good thing to have at your disposal a means of logging the food and drink intake.

MyFoodDiary is one such tool and it is addressed to Windows Phone users who can make all the necessary annotations for each snack or main meal they choose to include in the app's database.

Balanced appearance, for a smooth and functional GUI

The looks of this utility are well designed, with a befitting color scheme and appropriate graphics, except for the main menu hosted at the bottom of the screen, where the combination of hues makes it difficult to read the contained commands and functions.

Going through the various sections and browsing the saved entries is fluent, lacking any delays or other kind of similar glitches. The neat thing is that the items are grouped by the day of entry, so you can tap the respective record to have the stored data shown as the menu unfolds.

Create and manage diary entries on the fly

MyFoodDiary offers you a simple method of adding food and drink info from the dedicated section of the app. There is another screen that is designed to let you include various reactions as well.

Besides picking the date and time you can type in the meal details, input the location and also log your current state, which is pretty useful in case you develop allergic reactions and want to track down the food that may have caused them.

Insofar as the reaction logging is concerned, you can include some notes, as there is a dedicated section where up to 3 rows of text can be included in the same view.

View log details and export them

Inside the "Food entry log" area of MyFoodDiary are all the items you added, including the logged reactions. Each set of entries is packed under the day for which they were added and, with one tap on the record shown in there, the drop down menu unveils the logged data.

In case you want to send out all the details to someone, the utility is ready to help you share the information via email. To access this sharing option all you have to do is bring up the main menu from the lower side of the screen and press the corresponding button.
