Diet Tracker 1.0.1.1
Windows Phone users have in Diet Tracker a reliable tool that offers them the possibility to easily look after their weight and track the evolution over long periods of time.
Uncomplicated interface, with a simple look
The application offers a decent front-end, that looks well enough, even if it lacks the elements of design that would give it a more attractive appearance.
The information is well structured inside and there is a dedicated area for each important component, so, overall, the content is pretty well structured inside Diet Tracker.
The graphs you will find in the "Progress Reports" section span over a large area of entire screen, which makes it easier for you to view the weight evolution and, more importantly, these charts can be viewed in both portrait and landscape modes.
Going through the several sections and menus of the app is done fluently, but there is a visible annoyance that follows you everywhere and it comes in the form of some ad banners. To remove them permanently, a purchase is required.
Add and manage weigh-ins on the fly
The first thing you have to do when starting Diet Tracker is to provide your personal details, which consist of your name and starting weight. These can be modified very easily later on from the "Settings" menu.
When it comes to adding new entries, things are also quite straightforward, because you only have to type in the current weight and optionally add a note before tapping the "Record Weigh-in" button.
It is important to note that you can only add records for the current day, so you cannot include past values and have them illustrated in the charts.
Track the progress with charts and export data
The data records you save and the charts offered by Diet Tracker can be very helpful in analyzing your personal evolution. The reports with the graphical representations can show you the daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly views
In case you are eager to check out all the records added inside the app, there is a special section in the reports area you can go to and see the date, weight and notes, then update or delete on the spot any of the entries.
There is a live tile option you can activate and thus see right from the Start screen of your mobile phone the last weigh-in date on the medium or wide tile.

The appearance of Diet Tracker is quite basic, with a clear focus on functionality rather than good looks. |

The utility requires a considerable amount of power to function properly, so the battery usage is very high. |
Price9
All the functions can be used completely free of costs, but the removal of the advertisement banners requires a purchase. |
Compatibility9
