Windows Phone users can now link their devices with any peer connected to the same local network and carry out such tasks thanks to Feem Lite, an app that has correspondents on almost all platforms, desktop or mobile.
Simple and friendly appearance
This utility comes with a clean interface, featuring some really nice graphics, but everything is also well organized and the arrangement of the commands and features is quite convenient.
Most of the space inside the work area is reserved for the transfer preview and chat screen, while the controls are easy to reach from the menu placed in the lower side of the screen.
There is, however, a visible annoyance that will follow you in every corner of the app, namely the flashing ad banners that are constantly changing at the bottom of the screen.
Automatic device detection and fast transfers
As soon as you start the application it will begin the scan the local network to identify any devices that are also running Feem, so you can immediately start sending and receiving files.
Once you select one or more peers that appear inside the main screen, you will be able to send them a selection of files or an entire folder by simply tapping the corresponding button from the menu hosted just below the workspace.
The information about the ongoing transfers is displayed promptly and inside the notification center you will have a detailed log of every operation and the exact time when it was carried out.
Effortless file management and built-in chat module
The downloads and uploads lists are hosted each in its separate screen, so by pressing the respective buttons from the left side pane you will have instant access to those areas.
Insofar as the communication part is concerned, Feem Lite offers a fast and easy to use instant messaging solution that you can use to chat with other users on your network.
This feature is also independent of Internet connectivity, as all the functions of this application will work perfectly without needing an online connection on any end.
