Beautiful look with eye-candy elements throughout the app
The attractive interface of this utility is very well designed, featuring animated timers and customizable backgrounds for each event you add to the list. The live tiles that you can pin to the Start screen are also eye-catching, allowing you to view at a glance the upcoming events.
Besides the fine-looking images that can be associated with the items you add to the main list, Eventacular can use your own photos or pictures from Flickr as backgrounds, but these features have to be purchased first.
Manage events and add reminders as well as voice memos to any of them
Adding a new event or editing an existing one is a breeze, as all the parameters are displayed inside the same screen, so you can take them one at a time and customize them accordingly. Besides the colors and backgrounds that can be assigned to each entry, the app supports the use of reminders, so a notification screen will appear some seconds before the event.
Another very useful feature is the ability to add voice memos for every event, as Eventacular supports up to 2 minutes of audio recording. Marking an item as "prime" puts it on top of the list, as the most important upcoming event to look for.

There are plenty of customization options for each event hosted by Eventacular, as it offers reminders, voice memos and even a feature for securing the access to the app with a 4-digit PIN code. A better way of handling the expired events is needed, though, as they remain in the main list even if their time has passed. |
