Uncomplicated interface, with a plain look
As soon as you start this utility you will notice it is not too appealing and has some average graphics inside the main screen and throughout the other sections. The navigation is, nonetheless, very smooth when browsing the lists of emoticons or while scrolling through the tags.
A noticeable letdown comes from the advertisement banners that are displayed in every section of the app and keep on changing in the lower part of the screen. Also, after a few runs, a reminder that prompts you to leave a rating and review the app will appear, but you can disable it and sent it off with just a couple of taps.
Share emoticons and create some of your own on the spot
This application offers a decent amount of emoticons and you will be able to find some that are appropriated for a wide variety of situations. The ones you open become available immediately from the "Recent" section, so you can pick them up from there in case you want to send them again at a later time.
A neat feature of Emoticons is the fact that it supports custom creations of your own that can be added in the corresponding category. To copy those or any other emoticons you just have to tap the entry on the list and it will be sent automatically to the clipboard, so you can paste it inside another application.
The two functions from the menu shown at the bottom of the screen when the selection is made enable you to insert the emoticon in an SMS message directly or view it on the whole screen.
