Unadorned and easy to use GUI
The interface of this app is plain and simple, clearly made to be easy to use and practical rather than visually appealing. The navigation among its menus is pretty smooth, but going through the lists of clips or searching the database can be slow at times, as the application needs a few seconds for the search results to load and for the list to scroll.
In the lower part of the screen you will get a lot of advertisements, some of which remain there even during the full screen playback. Also, there are some infrequent prompts to rate the app, but these can be disabled permanently and dismissed from view.
Find and play any cartoon your child wants to see
The list of cartoons seems to go on forever and a good idea would be to use the built-in search to find your kid's preferred cartoons. The image quality is good and very good for most movies and the videos can be watched equally well in portrait or in landscape mode.
Marking certain toons as favorites will include them in the dedicated section of the app, while the download function will prove a valuable asset for those who want to play the cartoons when a data connection is not available.
Use the search with extra care
A word of advice for those who think about letting their children play freely with this app: don't! It contains all sorts of materials, not only cartoons for kids and a typo in the search box or scrolling adventurously towards the bottom of the list may bring up some inappropriate material.
