Emoji for iOS 7 3.1

Send messages with more feeling to them, fancy fonts, floating letters, stickers
If you like to spice up your messages using more than just clever talk and smiley faces, you can use one of many apps in the iTunes Store to add funny pet stickers, fancy fonts, floating letters, and more.

You’re better off using ASCII

Emoji for iOS 7 by Apalon Apps basically creates a big chat bubble in which you can draw up stuff using emojis. You’re not limited by a small entry field, so this way you can have some context and see what goes where and achieve an image, or a big letter or whatever ideas you and your friends share in common.

It’s a cute app, we’ll give it that, but using emojis to make symbols, people and foods is pretty hard. Either that, or the examples in the app are really bad. Sadly, we don’t have the time to create art with emojis. If you were to ask us, ASCII art is easier, more elegant, and more appealing overall.

Stickers, fancy fonts, emoji library

In addition to all the user-generated content, the app comes with a few standalone sections to let you look up stuff based on your tastes. You can also create your own emoji art and save the works to the phone.

Fancy fonts let you type messages with funky characters that make your messages come alive. That particular section is actually worth checking out. The stickers are pretty neat too.

Messy design

The overall look and feel of the app is messy and cluttered, as you’d expect. It’s not hard to navigate the interface, but it’s something that most adults wouldn’t have the patience for. That said, it can be used by everyone, regardless of age or sex.
