As one of the biggest messaging applications out there, WhatsApp is constantly working on improving features inside the app and bringing new options to its many users. As a matter of fact, the company has released a new feature in the WhatsApp beta version 2.16.230.

As pointed out by Android Police, the new feature allows users to multi-select recipients when forwarding or sharing a message. Users will no longer have to send a message to one chat and then go back and do the same thing for another recipient.

When wishing to share a message or a picture with multiple recipients who aren't part of the same group, people simply need to use the multi-select feature and send the content to multiple recipients at once.

The feature activates when users tap and hold the designated icon in order to forward a message from one chat to another or share a photo or video from the phone to WhatsApp. The application will also show the 3 most frequent chats on top to make it easier for users to find the people whom they talk to the most.

The feature is already live, and it's part of the v2.16.230 version of WhatsApp available in the Play Store beta program.

Just recently, WhatsApp has introduced voicemail and call back features to its application, as well as music sharing and larger emojis on the iOS version of the app.
