It looks like Samsung Z3, the next Tizen-powered smartphone, is very close to being released on the market. According to the latest rumors, the Z3 comes with better specs than its predecessor, Samsung Z1.

According to a new report coming directly from South Korea, Samsung Z3 has already been certified at FCC (Federal Communication Commission), which points to an imminent release.

The smartphone will come with Tizen 3.0 operating system right out of the box, a larger display, and a better camera. Unlike the Z1's 4-inch screen, Samsung Z3 sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution.

Also, on the back, there's an improved 8-megapixel shutter with autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

Samsung Z3 will be equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

It will offer dual-SIM support, but there's no mention of 4G LTE connectivity yet. We also know that the smartphone will be powered by a 2,600 mAh battery.

Samsung has been confirmed to arrive in Bangladesh, India and Nepal, but the South Korean company may introduce the Z3 in additional countries later on. Stay tuned for more on this one.
