Samsung’s Galaxy A series has done a good job of blending high-end features like metal bodies with middle-range specs and more affordable prices. Yes, the Galaxy A family wasn’t a best-seller, but reviewers and customers were positively impressed, nevertheless.

Now, a report coming out of Sam Mobile reveals that Samsung is working on a few sequels for the Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. The models have been spotted in the wild as SM-A310F, SM-A510F and SM-A710F in Russia and SM-5100 and SM-A7100 in China.

The model numbers are small variations of those of the original trio, which probably indicates that Samsung will only slightly upgrade the family, no major design changes in store.

Naturally, we still have quite some time to wait before seeing these products make a debut into the wild, and until then, Android 6.0 Marshmallow might be out and about and the phones might actually ship out with the new OS on board.

At the moment, we don’t really know how Samsung plans to name the next-generation A series, but as soon as information on the topic becomes available, we’ll be sure to update you on the matter.

The higher-end Galaxy A7 arrived with a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution (401 ppi) and a Snapdragon 615 chipset under the hood, working in combination with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Presumably, the next Galaxy A7 is going to be better, but how?
