14 DAY TRIAL // Earlier today we told you that Samsung’s upcoming Tizen smartphone, the Z3, had been spotted in the wild running Tizen 3.0 onboard.
While we told you that Samsung will probably end up launching the Z3 in India (along a couple more models), we also speculated that the Korean tech giant might want to start tackling other markets if it ever hopes to make its home-grown OS more popular.
Now, new info coming out of Sam Mobile stumbled upon fresh information according to which the phone behemoth is testing Tizen in all big countries across Europe.
Before the Z1 actually went official, a lot of people were expecting to see the first Tizen OS smartphone launch in Russia. But that didn’t happen. Well, Samsung appears to be still targeting the mother continent while its Tizen operating system is concerned.
Now at this point, we don’t know whether Samsung plans to roll out the Z1 or the Z3 in Europe, or maybe both.
The specs of the Z3 recently leaked online showing the device will constitute a pretty big improvement when compared to its predecessor.
The phone should arrive with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p, a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7730S processor and 1.5GB of RAM plus 8GB of internal storage (with microSD card).
The spec list will be completed by an 8MP/5MP camera combo and a 2,600 mAh battery.
