It looks like both Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ have received their FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certifications, which means they are now valid to sell in the United States.

If you're a Samsung fan who anxiously awaits the South Korean company to bring its high-end smartphones to the United States, then you should know that only Verizon (SM-920V) and AT&T (SM-N920A) versions of the Galaxy Note 5 have been spotted at FCC.

The same goes for the Galaxy S6 edge+ models that passed certification at FCC recently: SM-G928V (Verizon) and SM-G928A (AT&T). Still, we expect Sprint and T-Mobile models to follow shortly.

The fact that the smartphones have been certified at FCC so early may be another indication that the handsets will be announced next month.

However, rumor has it that Samsung might not be able to make both devices available for purchase worldwide at the end of August. As such, Europeans will have to wait a while longer for Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ to arrive in their countries.

On the other hand, it looks like customers in the United States might be among the first to be offered the chance to grab either one of these high-end smartphones.
