BlackBerry fans using the third-party Pocket client ReadItNow! will be pleased to know that the developers have just released an important update that contains a few new features and some improvements.

Version 7.5 comes with a new ability that allows the application to do automated background syncs at pre-defined intervals. Also, the developers promise that there will be no more blocked UI during sync after updating to the latest iteration.

Beside these two new features, the newest version of ReadItNow! comes with a few improvements as well. For example, the application now automatically detects when a user shares an article to it and syncs instantly.

In addition, the tag dialog is now grouped by the first character of the tag. Developers also updated some translations for the following languages: Czech, French, German, Italian and Russian.

A bug fix for the list of items that won't refresh properly after adding or removing tags has also been implemented. These are all the changes included in the last version of ReadItNow!

You can now download ReadItNow! for BlackBerry for $1.99 via BlackBerry World. The application should be fully compatible with all the devices powered by BlackBerry 10 and up.

Keep in mind that you will need an account for the free of charge service from Pocket in order to be able to take advantage of all the features offered by ReadItNow! for BlackBerry 10.
