Great news for Pushbullet users as developers have announced that their Android application has just been updated with several major improvements and some bug fixes.

There aren't too many new features included in the latest version of Pushbullet for Android, but any update that brings improvements and addresses some of the app's issues is more than welcome.

First of all, developers confirmed they finally optimized Pushbullet for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Google's newest version of Android.

The team behind Pushbullet unveiled that they added user runtime permissions for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so people using the application should probably notice that.

Also, the official changelog mentions that developers have added Direct Share support, as such users will be able to put their recent devices right in the Share menu. This feature requires Android 6.0 Marshmallow or newer.

Furthermore, notification actions are mirrored now on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. A possible MMS issue has been fixed for those using devices powered by Marshmallow, but that remains to be confirmed by Pushbullet users.

The application's size has been reduced by 25%. Last but not least, Pushbullet developers confirmed they have implemented many bug fixes and performance improvements.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Pushbullet for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0.3 and up.
