It hasn't been long since Samsung made its latest premium smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, available to the world, and the company is working on molding Galaxy Apps to fit the new flagship. As such, Good Lock app now comes with iris scanner support for the Note 7.

Samsung has updated its Good Lock app to version 24.0.12 today, and the new version is already available in the Galaxy Apps Store. The update makes the Good Lock compatible with the Galaxy Note 7 and its iris scanner, one of the selling points of the new smartphone.

The update allows users to unlock their handsets using the iris scanner. Aside from this, Samsung has also added a bunch of new features to the Good Lock, including an option to back up Keep notifications, use unlock animations or display the status bar icons of notifications into one category icon. It also supports the option to remove or keep Apps when attempting to remove all options from Recent Apps section.

The new version of Good Lock can be installed by accessing Galaxy Apps Store, finding the application and tapping on the update button.

Samsung's Good Lock allows users to customize the on-screen lock of their Galaxy smartphones, as well as to manage notifications and content displayed on the lockscreen. Users can add and edit widgets on the screen or organize notifications in an intuitive way.
