The UI has been redesigned from the ground up

One of the most complete mobile apps for baseball fans, MLB.com At Bat, has just received a major update on the Android platform.

The newest version of the application features the All-Star Game edition for complete coverage of the Midsummer Classic from Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati (July 14).

In addition, the update brings support for Android Auto, as well as a completely redesigned user interface. Developers also confirm that they have implemented some general improvements and bug fixes.

Last but not least, the update adds sortable stats by team and filter All-Time regular season leaders total, single season, career total active, single season active and year.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download MLB.com At Bat for Android for free via Google Play Store. It should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

Keep in mind though that in order to access At Bat Premium, you will have to pay $2.99 (€2.7) per month or $19.99 (€18.07) annually.

According to the developers, subscribers will be automatically billed $2.99 through Google Play every 30 days or $19.99 every 365 days until they cancel their subscription.

It's also worth mentioning that MLB.TV Premium subscribers will receive At Bat premium features for free.
