Google is expected to unveil its two new Nexus smartphones on September 29. This year, the search giant teamed up with two major handset makers to bring its Nexus devices to customers, LG and Huawei.

According to the latest rumors, LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6X (or whatever the name) will only share a few specs in common since they will be positioned at different price tiers.

The cheapest of the two, LG Nexus 5X will come with a 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, while Huawei Nexus 6X is expected to pack a much larger 6-inch display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

Also, Nexus 5X is said to make use of Qualcomm's hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, whereas the Huawei-made Nexus smartphone should pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset.

Since several pictures of the LG Nexus 5X have already leaked online, we have a pretty good idea on what the smartphone will look like.

Still, one more picture shouldn't hurt. It appears that case makers have already overwhelmed online retailers with cases for Nexus 5X.

An interesting one comes from Ringke and shows a transparent case coating that appears to be the new Nexus 5X. The case is available for purchase for $11.99 and should arrive in stock on October 9.
