About three months have passed since LG released its flagship smartphone, the G5, in the United States and some European countries, and it seems that a method for rooting the device has already made its way on the Internet.

A post on XDA Developers forum provides links to the tools that need to be used in order to root the LG G5. Links for downloading the LGUP for G5, DLL H830, Suppersu, Disbable, and TOT files are also offered in the post, together with instructions.

An image proves that the rooting was successful while there are plenty of forum users who have confirmed that they managed to root their LG G5 phones using the tools provided. Rooting a flagship phone is not an easy task, but in the case of LG G5, it seems that users have already found a method.

Last month, there was even a poll on the XDA Developers forum, in which users could vote on the time that it took for a rooting method to be found. Most of them voted that the handset would be rooted within 2 months, and it appears that they were right.

By comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S7 was rooted in less than a week after launch; a post on the same forum confirmed that a method for rooting the device was already found. Users could root phones carrying the code name SM-G935 and Exynos SoC.
