Saved drafts could be published later on Instagram

Instagram is surely one of the most popular social networks out there, and the application continues to bring improvements with every update. The latest information shows that Instagram is currently testing a new feature called “Save Draft.”

The new feature would allow users to save posts for publication at a later time, according to The Next Web. It seems that the new feature is similar to a tool found on Twitter and other social networks, as it would allow users to prepare posts for publishing later on. Now, when a user exits a post they're composing, Instagram automatically deletes it.

The new feature would also allow users to delete posts, with the “Save Draft” button being available in the compose window, above the “all photos” button.

Instagram is currently A/B testing the new feature, but that's not a guarantee that the tool would actually arrive on its Android and iOS application. In fact, the company could at any point abandon plans for such a tool, but since many users have been waiting for it for some time now, it really shouldn't.

Instagram has just recently introduced a new feature that resembles Stories in Snapchat and even bears the same name. The feature lets users share moments of their day, including pictures and videos that they've kept on their profile. In addition, the feature has the option for users to send private messages through Instagram Direct.
