Wireless carrier AT&T has opened the pre-order period for the new Apple iPhone 5 for all of its users interested in the new device.
Just as announced on Wednesday, when the new handset was unveiled, reservations for the device were set to start just after midnight Pacific Time, and AT&T’s user can now pre-order it via their carrier’s website.
The smartphone is priced at $199.99 for the 16GB model, $299.99 for the 32GB variant, and $399.99 for the 64GB flavor. To benefit from the discounted prices, users will have to commit to a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.
Apple’s iPhone 5 is available in two color flavors, namely black and white, and will ship to users starting with September 21st, 2012.
Apple has opened the pre-orders for the new device as well, offering users the possibility to purchase the unlocked iPhone 5 version.
