Apple’s latest iPhone models have been released on the shelves of most large wireless carriers in the United States, with T-Mobile currently the only operator left out of the deal.
However, it appears that things might change as soon as the next iPhone model is launched, since the Cupertino-based company will pack it with a chipset that offers support for T-Mobile’s AWS bands as well.
AT&T, Verizon and Sprint have already got the device, and T-Mobile is certainly looking forward to launching it as well. After all, this is a profitable smartphone.
What remains to be seen is whether Apple will indeed choose to launch iPhone 5 with support for T-Mobile’s network. The wireless carrier did say a few months ago that it was interested in the iconic device, but that Apple had to decide which carriers would receive it.
