Android enthusiasts in India looking for a powerful but budget-friendly smartphone may be in luck, as iBerry has just announced the upcoming availability of Auxus Nuclea X.

The smartphone comes equipped with MediaTek’s MT6592 chipset, which accommodates a 1.7GHz octa-core processor and a Mali 450-MP4 graphics processing unit.

According to fonearena, the iBerry Auxus Nuclea X is now exclusively available for pre-order via eBay for Rs 12,990 ($215 / €155) outright. The high-end smartphone will go on sale beginning May 5, but only the black color option will be available at launch.

Aside from the powerful CPU, Auxus Nuclea X boasts a decent 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution and features OGS (One Glass Solution) technology.

On the back, the smartphone packs an impressive 13-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front, it features an incredible 8-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

iBerry Auxus Nuclea X offers dual-SIM support and comes packed with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB). The bad news is that Auxus Nuclea X will ship with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
