Indian OEM iBall has just released a brand new affordable Android smartphone especially aimed at women handset users. Dubbed Andi Uddaan, the new smartphone is now available for purchase in India for only Rs 8,999 ($145/€105) off contract.

As expected for a device with such a target, iBall Andi Uddaan is available in both Pink and White color options. It also comes with a free flip cover, extra back cover, as well as a small pink purse and a display scratch guard.

Fonearena reports that the smartphone packs a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution and 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The Andi Uddaan ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and offers dual-SIM support, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot (up to 32GB).
