The smartphone sports a large 5-inch display and quad-core CPU

Indian OEM iBall plans to launch another budget-friendly Android smartphone in the coming days, the Andi 5K Sparkle. The smartphone has recently been spotted on the company’s website, but has yet to go on sale.

According to AndroidOS, iBall Andi 5K Sparkle will be available for purchase for only Rs 9,999 ($160 / €115) outright. As expected, the device offers dual-SIM support and mid-range features.

iBall has also confirmed that the Andi 5K Sparkle will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a decent 1.3GHz quad-core processor provided by MediaTek.

Furthermore, the device sports a large 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, as well as a more than decent 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

Other highlights of the Andi 5K Sparkle include 4GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 1820 mAh battery.
