The smartphone can be pre-purchased for Rs 18,999 (€215/$285) outright

Andi 4a Projector is the first smartphone launched by iBall to feature a projector. The smartphone is now available for pre-order in India for Rs 18,999 (€215/$285) off contract.

AndroidOS reports that Indian retailer Flipkart offers customers who pre-purchase iBall Andi 4a Projector a Rs 1,000 (€11/$15) discount.

The smartphone will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform onboard and a 35 Lumens projector, which is said to deliver 480 x 640p output up to a distance of 8 to 10 feet.

On the inside, Andi 4a is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and packs 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory.

The phone also sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera for video calls.
