Hike, one of the more recent successes on the already crowded instant messenger markets, is now looking for beta testers for a new Windows Phone application.

In fact, the upcoming app will be fully compatible with both Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile as long as you have access to one of the two platforms.

According to developers, the new application will bring a complete makeover, especially for Windows Phone, as well as new Chat themes.

Also, users will be able to share files up to 100MB in size, although developers promise that they will soon upgrade this feature to no less than 1GB.

Furthermore, Hike for Windows Phone will allow its users to transfer files of all types including notes, photos, docs and PDFs.

Another important feature that Hike users will be able to take advantage of is the option to create 500 member Group Chats with multi-admin facility for major fun.

Last but not least, 1:1 mute chats will be implemented in the new application, so users can mute a friend who is pestering them without him knowing he's been muted.

One Hike's developers also hinted at a brand-new feature that the company is working on, which is called Hike Direct and allows users to connect to each other directly over Wi-Fi without the need of 3G connection.
