According to developers, Bestie for Android allows users to quickly find the photo that will get them the best results on Tinder. Also, it promises to find the best photo to post on Facebook or Instagram.
In case you're wondering what algorithm the application uses to find the best photo of you, the developer claims Bestie can determine the winner of a batch of photos by simply running each photo against other users in a series of random matches.
“We figured it was better to get people’s subconscious impression and not have people linger on photos, because we don’t do that in our online lives in the first place,” explains dev Brian Vallelunga.
The idea that made Bestie a reality came from the fact that the team of developers found out that the pictures they thought they looked best weren't liked by their friends as well. Bestie is the answer to this controversy.
If you want to try it out, you can now download Bestie for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
An iOS version of Bestie will be available for download via App Store very soon, developers promised.
