Well-known mobile games publisher and developer Gameloft has just released another major update for its popular Despicable Me: Minion Rush for Windows Phone.

Windows Phone players will be pleased to know that the update brings new content in the form of new characters, mini-games and environments.

“Choose between Dave, Carl or Jerry to run with in Minion Park and Eduardo’s House! Hop on a skateboard, do tricks with a BMX or try the high-flyin’ mini-game!” says Gameloft about the latest update.

First of all, the update brings two new minions that players can try out: Carl and Jerry. In addition, the latest version of Despicable Me: Minion Rush comes with two new environments, Minion Park and Eduardo's House.

Last but not least, the update brings 3 new mini-games that players will be able to play inside Despicable Me: Minion Rush: Skateboard, BMX and Minion Glider.

There's no word on any other improvements or bug fixes that might have been implemented in this update, but we don't rule them out.

If you don't have the game installed yet, you can now download Despicable Me: Minion Rush for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
