Blizzard has finally updated its Battle.net Authenticator application for Android. Now, you might be wondering why that is so important. Well, as it happens, Blizzard's authenticator app hasn't been updated in quite a long time and looked pretty old.

But not anymore, since a new version of Battle.net Authenticator is now available for download to all those who use it.

According to the official changelog, the update should bring a brand-new design. The application has finally received a modern design refresh and an extra layer of polish; plus, users will be able to see great Blizzard franchise art every time they load up the digital code.

In addition, the update should contain some usability improvements. With the latest version of the application, getting a code now features an improved visual indicator, easy clipboard copy, and an animated countdown.

If you've never used Battle.net Authenticator, this would be a very good time to give it a try since the application has just received a redesign.

With the help of Blizzard's application, you will be able to protect your Battle.net account and all the games made by the developer.

The application even offers two-factor authentication, thus protecting everything from Warcraft characters to Hearthstone decks.

If you don't have the application yet, you can now download Battle.net Authenticator for Android for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.
