Sony is expected to release Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrades for at least a dozen Xperia devices. In fact, a Marshmallow concept build is already available for download for Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact users.

Besides the standard improvements and the usual new features that have already been confirmed for Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Sony plans its own tweaks and enhancements.

One of these improvements is related to the Stamina Mode, which is already implemented on all Xperia series devices.

With Stamina Mode enabled, users will be able to increase the standby time of their Xperia device by 400%, which isn't something that can be easily overlooked.

According to tipster @Ricciolo1, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to bring an enhanced version of the Stamina Mode. This will probably increase the standby time to newer, better values.

Up until now, Sony has announced it will offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrades for the following smartphones and tablets: Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.

Unfortunately, the improvement to the Stamina Mode has already been confirmed for Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Compact. Still, we expect a few other Xperia devices to get this feature as well.
