YouTube’s mobile web interface is expected to receive a revamp in the not too distant future, as Google has already started to test an Android-like navigation drawer for it.

Furthermore, the mobile website is reportedly receiving the card-based UI that Android-users can enjoy at the moment in their specific YouTube application, while also promising cleaner video pages, screenshots that emerged online courtesy of Nedas Petravičius unveil.

As AndroidPolice notes, the new UI resembles a lot that of the aforementioned Android application, especially with the hamburger navigation drawer button and bigger thumbnails visible there.

Moreover, the suggestions/comments look similar to those in the mobile client, which clearly shows a great improvement for the YouTube’s mobile site.

For the time being, however, the new UI is said to be only in testing phase, and it remains to be seen whether Google will indeed roll it out to all users out there or not.
