Lots of bug fixes and improvements have been added as well

Yahoo’s mobile client has just received a small update on Android platform. Developers have also released a changelog that confirms that the update brings some bug fixes and improvements.

In addition, Yahoo announced that the latest update should improve support for slideshows. Furthermore, the update contains a fix for a specific force close issue that some users have experienced.

Other bug fixes and improvements have been included in the update as well, but no additional details have been provided. While updates are always good, Yahoo has the bad habit of fixing some things while breaking others.

Each update that’s been pushed to Google Play has repaired something, but has also introduced some more or less critical bugs. Let’s hope this one is bug-free.

You can now download Yahoo for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
