Today, we have told you that Xiaomi seems to be having a busy year ahead. The Chinese device maker is apparently looking to introduce a new mid-range device with a Snapdragon 808 processor on the market.

But as previous rumors revealed, the company is also working on a new Redmi Note handset, which leaked today into the wild, courtesy of Upleaks.

The phone bears the model name “H3Y” and is codenamed “Hermes” internally. The phone will arrive with a full HD display (although its form factor is not known yet) and will draw power from a MediaTek MT6795 processor working hand in hand with 2GB of RAM.

Xiaomi will accommodate two cameras on board, the main one being of the 13MP variety, while the secondary one of 5MP capacity. The phone should also offer dual-SIM support and feature a metallic design.

The leaks say the phone will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, with MIUI 6 on top.

An earlier report, however, seems to contradict these new details. If we are to believe the older info, the Redmi Note 2 will take advantage of a 5.5-inch HD display (720p) and a Snapdragon 410 processor.

A Redmi Note 2 Pro will also become available with a FHD 5.5-inch display and a Snapdragon 615 chip out of the box.

So, which scenarios do you like better?
