The smartphone should be announced in the second half of the year

Chinese mobile phone maker Xiaomi might be set to adopt the latest trend in the mobile phone industry, and it could release a mini version of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi4 flagship smartphone.

Rumor has it that both devices might become official in the second half of the year, despite the fact that no official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, as gizchina notes.

Details on what the mini variant of the smartphone might include haven’t been provided as of now, but some info on the possible specs of Xiaomi Mi4 did emerge online.

The handset is said to pack a 5.5-inch touchscreen display, along with a Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM. Moreover, the flagship device should sport a 13-megapixel camera on the back and support for 4G LTE networks out there.
