Today, Chinese mobile phone maker Xiaomi started to sell the third flagship smartphone in its Mi series, namely the Xiaomi Mi3, and it announced that the device had sold out soon after sales kicked off.

In fact, the company unveiled that it managed to sell the first batch of 100,000 Mi3 units in less than one minute and a half.

“100,000 Xiaomi MI3s are sold out in one minute and twenty-six seconds, and 3000 MITVs are sold out in one minute and fifty-eight seconds,” Xiaomi said in a tweet.

Xiaomi Mi3 arrives on shelves with a 5-inch full HD screen, a quad-core Tegra 4 CPU (a Snapdragon 800 variant is also available), and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. It also features 2GB of RAM, a 3050mAh battery, and Android 4.2.1 with MIUI v5 on top.
