14 DAY TRIAL // XOLO was already rumored to plan the launch of an Intel-based smartphone on March 14, and confirmation on the matter has emerged from the company itself.
Over the weekend, XOLO has sent out invitations to a press event on that day in in Goa, claiming that it will unveil “the fastest smartphone ever,” tech2.in reports.
While no official info on the matter has been provided, rumor has it that the device will be powered by an Intel Clover Trail+ CPU, a dual-core chip that might be clocked in at 2.0GHz.
The press invite also offers a glimpse at the smartphone, which will land on shelves with the power button at the top (and with a possible notification LED next to it). Unfortunately, no specific details on the smartphone’s hardware specifications have been provided as of now.
