Today, XOLO made the new X1000 Intel-based smartphone official in India, announcing its availability for the last week of March, and online retailers have already added the device to their pre-order lineup.

At the moment, the smartphone can be seen on this page over at Flipkart with a price tag of INR 19,999 ($369 / 285 Euro) attached to it.

Packing a 2 GHz Intel Atom processor and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU, the handset should be able to provide users with an appealing performance while on the go.

The smartphone also sports a 4.7-inch TFT LCD display, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory, memory card slot, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a front camera for making video calls.

As AndroidOS notes, the smartphone runs under Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, though it might be upgraded to a newer flavor of the OS soon.
