Intel’s processors are not widely spread inside smartphones today, but it seems that this might change soon, as more and more handset vendors are choosing them for upcoming devices.

XOLO is one of them, and the company is now said to plan on announcing a new smartphone on March 14, one that would sport a new Intel processor inside.

The phone is currently being teased on XOLO’s official website and on its Facebook page, and AndroidOS suggests that it might sport the new Clover Trail+ dual-core Atom processor inside when launched, although no confirmation on this has been provided.

The teaser, which points at a March 14 unveiling, mentions the device as “Mission X” and, with the company’s X-Series devices being powered by Intel chips, it appears only natural that the new phone would follow the same pattern.
