Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices might soon enjoy the features of new popular applications specifically designed for their operating system of choice, including Flipboard and Mint.com applications.

Apparently, confirmation on the arrival of these apps on Microsoft’s mobile operating system has already emerged, although specific info on when they will be released has yet to be provided.

Jason Pearson, Flipboard developer, has reportedly confirmed plans to have the application available on Windows Phone 8, providing users with a new experience when it comes to reading news on the go.

Mint took it to Facebook to confirm plans on making the application available on Windows Phone 8, while also adding that the software should arrive on devices before the end of this year.

Hopefully, it won’t be long before additional details on these apps are provided, so stay tuned.
