Unveiled back in September at IFA 2011, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is about to make its debut in Canada. The LTE model has just been announced at the International Consumer Electronics Show and will be available through Verizon Wireless.

Initially, Samsung plans to release the Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Canada, but it won’t come as a surprise if major carriers announce the LTE-enabled tablet as well.

The folks over at MobileSyrup have learned that the tablet is “coming soon” in Canada, though no other details have been revealed for the moment.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 comes with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.4 GHz dual core processor and dual cameras. The slate runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb platform, but Samsung plans to deploy an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in the following months.
