Rumors about the upcoming launch of the white Galaxy S II Skyrocket at AT&T surface almost two weeks ago, but the handset maker didn’t confirm the information.

However, it looks like the folks at Androinica received word on the availability of the smartphone via AT&T. According to them, Samsung plans to release the white-colored Galaxy S II Skyrocket on December 4.

It will most likely be available for the same price as the black version, as the smartphones share the same specs sheet.

Those unfamiliar with the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket should know that this is a slightly improved version of the popular Galaxy S II smartphone.

The phone is equipped with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB or RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and LTE support.

It runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread platform but Samsung confirmed the phone will get the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade sometime next year.
