Nokia has been long rumored to plan the release of a white flavor of its Windows Phone-powered Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone, and it seems that all might actually become official as soon as next month.

The Finnish handset vendor is expected to make the pale Lumia 800 model available for purchase in Switzerland in February, via local wireless carrier Swisscom.

Lumia 800 was designed on the same body as Nokia N9, which is already available in white. This fact supports the idea of having the Windows Phone device available in a new color flavor soon.

Nothing has officially been confirmed on the matter for the time being, but the next three weeks or so could change that, it seems. Specs-wise, we should not see changes from the other colored versions of the mobile phone, namely Black, Cyan and Magenta. Unfortunately, no photo with the new version has emerged so far.
