Shortly after announcing an Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update for the Samsung Galaxy S II, T-Mobile USA made a surprising move and introduced the white version of the popular smartphone.

Customers who want to get into the Christmas spirit with this white-themed Galaxy S II from T-Mobile USA can purchase it for as low as $229.99 (170 EUR) with a new two-year agreement.

According to T-Mobile USA, the white flavor of the Galaxy S II is available online, as well as via Telesales and customer care.

Apart from its different color, the phone does not come with anything new in comparison with the standard black variant, which was introduced at T-Mobile USA back in October.

So expect this one to be packed with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor, a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus capacitive display, an 8-megapixel camera and 1GB of RAM.
