WhatsApp Messenger for Android and iOS have received some important updates in the last couple of months. However, the Windows Phone version is a bit behind when it comes to features and improvements.

In fact, for the time being, WhatsApp for Android seems to be the most advanced of the three, which means developers are taking each platform at a time and add new features and enhancements.

The latest update for Android version of WhatsApp brings the long-awaited voice calling features to everyone. On the other hand, the update delivered today for the Windows Phone application doesn't add anything visible.

If you already have WhatsApp for Windows Phone installed on your smartphone, then you should receive a small update these days. Unfortunately, this update doesn't come with an official changelog attached to it, and from what we can tell, there are no new features included.

This minor update may fix a few issues or it may improve the overall performance of the application, but without a changelog we can't say for sure. Make sure you update to the latest version of WhatsApp, and let us know if you noticed any improvements.

You can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The application is fully compatible with all devices powered by Windows Phone 7.5 and up.
