Although WhatsApp Messenger is available on Windows Phone, many of the features that iOS and Android users benefit from have yet to arrive on Microsoft’s mobile platform.

However, it looks like developers are already working to bring some of these features to Windows Phone users and one of the first is aimed at those who wish to save videos received to local storage.

WMPoweruser reports that the folks over at WPArea.de have been tipped on an upcoming update for WhatsApp Messenger that will bring the ability to save videos.

In addition, the update is also said to enable the option to send up to 10 photos simultaneously, as well as the ability to store profile pictures and fast deletion of old messages.

No word on when exactly the update will arrive, but it’s expected to hit Windows Phone devices very soon. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
