BlackBerry 10 is the last platform on which the WhatsApp Messenger application arrived a few weeks ago. The official client for BlackBerry 10 has been updated a few times since its launch, in order to fix some issues and add new features.

The latest WhatsApp Messenger for BlackBerry 10 comes with additional languages, such as Brazilian, Portuguese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

According to CrackBerry, WhatsApp Messenger developers also added a very useful feature, namely automatic chat history backup.

Aside from these changes, there are no other new features included in the update, except for a bunch of various bug fixes that have yet to be detailed by developers.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.6518 is now available as a free download via BlackBerry World and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 10 and up. Check it out here.
