The team of engineers at WhatsApp have just released a new beta version of their Messenger application for Android devices. As expected, they did not provide any information regarding the changes included in this updated iteration of WhatsApp Messenger.

Nevertheless, those who already have the beta version of WhatsApp installed on their Android devices may notice some changes that haven’t been mentioned by developers.

For the time being, we must assume that the new WhatsApp beta for Android brings minor bug fixes and small improvements, but new features may be tested as well.

It would have been nice if developers had released a short changelog for the update, so that Android users who opted for the beta knew what they needed to test and offer their feedback on.

Anyway, those who already have a beta version of WhatsApp Messenger installed on their devices won’t find the newest version on Google Play Store.

However, you can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.206 for free via Softpedia. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.

Keep in mind that this beta version of the application may contain bugs that will affect your user experience, so don’t install it unless you plan on offering feedback.
