Good news for WhatsApp Messenger users, as developers have just released a new version for Android, though only those who don’t mind installing it from third-party sources will be able to get it.

As usual, the folks behind one the most popular instant messaging application for mobile devices have yet to push this update on Google Play Store. Unfortunately, no changelog has been released either, so there’s no telling if it’s worth updating or not.

Nevertheless, we expect some minor changes to be added, such as minor bug fixes, tweaks and small improvements, but without an official changelog, we can’t confirm it yet.

You can now download WhatsApp Messenger for Android 2.11.139 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
