The popular WhatsApp application has received yet another update on Windows Phone devices, and is currently available for download as version 2.11.356.

The new app iteration brings along a fix for an issue with reception of broadcast messages that the software was found to pack before.

The update builds on the enhancements that the mobile client has received as part of previous updates, including support for Hindi.

With WhatsApp Messenger on their devices, users can easily stay in touch with their friends and family, regardless of whether they are on Windows Phone, Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, or Symbian devices.

WhatsApp can be used on both 3G and Wi-Fi networks and is free for one year, after which users will have to pay $0.99 per year to continue enjoying the service.
