One of the most popular weather applications for Android devices, WeatherBug has just received a major update that brings some visual and performance improvements, as well as new features.

According to developers, the application’s user interface has been redesigned and is now cleaner and more intuitive.

With the latest version of WeatherBug users will be able to take advantage of slide-side navigation without swiping, and also of the new Background themes.

Last but not least, developers confirmed they have added dynamic live tiles, along with a new Photos category that should prove very useful to WeatherBug users. Keep in mind that some features like push notifications are only available in the United States.

WeatherBug 3.0.134 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
